Flowering Characteristics: Many brilliant red, tubular flowers in an elongated cluster on an erect stalk.
Native Range: Southern Ontario and Quebec to New Brunswick; S. to Florida; W. to eastern Texas; N. to Minnesota.
Flowering expected: July - Se

Native Habitat: Damp sites, especially along streams
Comments: Pollinated chiefly by hummingbirds, since most insects find it difficult to navigate the long tubular flowers. Its common name alludes to the bright red robes worn by Roman Catholic Cardinals. 

Sun, but partial shade is preferred. Salt Tolerance to .2%

Native Range: Florida and coastal areas to Mississippi and the Carolinas.

Comments: Rare or infrequent in natural habitat.

Native Range: Sub-tropical and Tropical
Flowering expected:  small, creamy white and yellow  flowers, 3 times a year
Comments: Height 68-80cm -

Salt Tolerance to .4%
